New Book Reflects on Present Advancements in Technology, Possible Opportunities in the Future
New technologies surround us every day, making our lives simpler, more interesting and more enjoyable. And although a hundred people might say “Wow” with every breakthrough, there’s always one who asks, “How can I push this a little further?” Roderick L. Fennell’s new book, The Future of Tomorrow: How Technology, Medicine, Computers, and Travel Will Change Beyond the 21st Century (published by AuthorHouse), exposes present advancements and discoveries taking place in today’s world of technology, and discusses the possibilities that tomorrow may bring: Imagine tiny computers so small they must be seen with a microscope. Consider machines smaller than a red blood cell that can circulate through your body and attack and remove infectious organisms. Imagine the creation of ultra light materials that are 10 times as strong as steel or the creation of molecular computers that could contain storage devices capable of storing trillions of bytes of information in a structure the size of a sugar cube. Consider the day when we are able to cure cancer by simply drinking a medicine stirred into our favorite fruit juice. All of these notions are ideas behind nanotechnology. Medicine, biology, quantum physics, computer engineering, chemistry, aerospace and business are just a few of the areas where you can find current cutting-edge technology – from nanotechnology to neural networks with A.I

The Future Of Tomorrow
How Technology, Medicine, Computers, and Travel Will Change Beyond the 21st Century
Imagine a supercomputer no bigger than a human cell . Imagine a four-person, surface-to-orbit supercraft no larger and no more expensive than a family car. Imagine being able to cure cancer by drinking a medicine stirred into your favorite fruit juie. These are just a few products expeted from Nanotechnology.
Well, if Nanotechnology is suppose to be so important to our material existence then, let's start by finding out what it is. Nanotechnology is an umbrella term that covers many areas od research dealing with objects that are measured in nanometers. A nanometer(nm) is a billionth of a meter, or a millionth of a millilonth of a millimeter. Let's now learn how nanomachines will manufacture products, and what will be the impact.

Thought of the day
The Future Of Tomorrow
How Technology, Medicine, Computers, and Travel Will Change Beyond the 21st Century
New technologies surround us, making our lives simpler, more interesting, and more enjoyable. We wear eyeglasses that automatically darken into sunglasses when we step outside on a bright sunny day. Voicemail systems make it easy to leave a message for someone. The space Invaders and Pac-Man of old can now teach us about music, art ad history. With every breakthrough, a hundred people might say " WOw," but there's always onw who says,"How can I push this a little further?" One inventor's breaktrough is another inventor's stepping stone.
Just as society has evolved, so has man and his desires. For those that owned 1st horse and buggy, the sight of the Model-T was not only foreign but also laughable. How could something that looked so strange ever catch on? There have been many first from various disciplines that when they initially took place, critics vowed it would never work or catch on but, they were all in time silenced by masses or its popularity. From the first heart transplant, to the first 2 ton computer of 50's, mankind continues to kick sand in the face of adversity and find ways to achieve the once impossible.

What is intelligence? What is cognition? Is thinking and thought uniquely human? Can Artificial Intelligent machines experience emotion and feelings, such as love and anger? … Today’s IT systems are mostly data and communication tools for human workers. Tomorrow’s IT systems will be able to do more: automate decisions, intelligently analyze large amounts of data, and learn from their mistakes. … It is predicted that computers will match the computational functions of the human brain early in the next century, and that soon afterwards humans and computers will merge to become a new species. Can humans compete?
Roderick has lived with families in Germany, Austria and England and traveled to Holland, France, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Czechoslovakia. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a bachelor’s in business management and a master’s in management information systems. He has over 18 years of management experience in the fields of information technology, insurance, finance and health care.
These are but a few of the exciting discoveries that you will find inside this book. Don't wait, take a glimpse of the future as it exist today, and journey with me as we go in search of a world beyond the 21st century. The Future of Tomorrow can be purchased online at www.authorhouse.com or www.barnesandnoble.com.

What if..
The Future Of Tomorrow
How Technology, Medicine, Computers, and Travel Will Change Beyond the 21st Century
Mankind has always thought of what if. If I could only find a way to get from Point A to Point B faster, I would have more time for X,Y, &Z. from the first invention of the flint rock for hunting, to the discovery of fire, we have always looked for ways to do things just a little betetr than the day before. That same mind set led man to discover that the world was round instead of flat, that a country called America existed, that machines could work faster than man, i.e.(The Industrial Revolution), and to our technological advances of the 21st century.
